Monday Motivation: Spring Song

Spring is in the air, and a song of praise is in my heart! The dogwoods and azaleas are blooming. The world around me is alive with color and sound! When I survey the beauty of creation, I cannot help but marvel at God’s great grace and His abundant blessings to us!

Let us not miss the glory of spring. May our hearts be filled with joy as we take notice of the delicate blooms, the birdsong in the trees, the vivid colors of the sunrise and sunset. For it is God’s majesty on display, and our only worthy response is a heartfelt song of sweet praise!

Sweet Praise

Sweet Lord, I give You praise,

For a new dawn breaking,

Golden rays of sunlight,

Your creation waking.

Sweet Lord, I give You praise,

For the petals of a flower,

Green leaves upon the tree,

Precious morning hour.

Sweet Lord, I give you praise,

For the gently rocking swing,

Brilliant blooms on display,

Fresh fragrance of Spring.

For the birdsong in the trees,

Blue sky above,

Kiss of the gentle breeze.

PRAYER

O Sweet Lord, we give You Praise. For Your creation sings all around us. Your majesty is proclaimed. Your glory resounds in the wonders of nature. Let our hearts sing for joy, because we are Your children, the precious work of Your hands. You love us with an unfailing love. Your mercies are new every morning! Great is Your faithfulness! Thank You, Lord!
