Friends
Where are you this morning? Is your soul treading upon the heights, your upturned face warmed by rays of golden light? Are you rejoicing at the dawn of a new day? Are you basking in the glow of your blessings?
Perhaps you are sinking in the depths of a murky sea. Are you weighed down by worry, suffering under the strain of your burdens? Does fear grip you with its cold, clammy fingers? Is it stealing your joy, robbing you of today, and threatening your tomorrow?
Are you full of hope or does all seem lost?
Wherever you are, there is one powerful certainty, one truth you can always stand on. You are not alone.
You are a child of God. He knows your burdens. He feels your pain. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). The Lord is with us always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). Nothing, nothing this life can throw at us, absolutely nothing can separate us from His love (Romans 8:38-39). Wherever we are, whatever we face, our God is always there.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
Romans 8:35,37 – NIV

You Are There
You are there, Lord.
You are there.
You are always there.
You tell me,
Listen!
My promise receive,
Never will I forsake you,
Never will I leave.
You are there,
In my going out,
Know my coming in,
Your Grace is sufficient,
You cover my sin.
You are there,
When I rise up,
When I lie down,
When I am lost,
You call me found.
You are there,
In the summer sun,
In the icy rain,
You bear my burdens,
You share my pain.
Shadows lurk and linger,
Darkness closes in,
My courage falters,
But fear can never win.
For You are there,
When storm clouds threaten,
When bitter winds blow,
My hand in Yours,
You never let go.
Again, You remind me,
Listen!
My promise receive,
Never will I forsake you,
Never will I leave.
Yes, You are there.
You are there, Lord.
You are always there.
Amen and Amen.

Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Psalm 73:23-26 – NIV
PRAYER
O Lord God, You are there. You are always there. You are with us in our joy. You share in our sorrows. You are with us today. You will be there tomorrow. Forever and always, always and forever, You are there.
In the Ever-Present Name of Jesus, we pray,
Amen
Blessings,
Anita
