What robe do you wear on this Monday morning? When you look in the mirror, what do you see? Are you disheveled by the weight of sin and shame? Are you plagued by fear?
Let’s take a fresh look in the mirror. Let’s close our eyes and breathe deeply. Now open your eyes to the way God sees you. You are His beloved child. He adores you. You are precious to Him. He stands ready to bless you. He waits for you to run toward Him this morning, to fall into His arms and claim your inheritance.
Let’s start the day with fresh eyes and an open heart full of praise! For we are children of God!

I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
Isaiah 61:10
I am a child of God.
Praise The Lord!
I’m no longer a slave to fear or sin or shame.
I am a child of God.
I am clothed in a robe of righteousness.
A robe I don’t deserve.
A robe I am unworthy to touch, let alone wear.
But He insists.
He knows me.
He knows everything about me.
He knows everything I ever thought, everything I ever did.
It doesn’t matter.
When He looks at me, He doesn’t see the stains.
He just sees the beauty, the beauty of the being He created, the masterpiece He envisioned long before I was formed in my mother’s womb.
I am fearfully and wonderfully made by His own hands.
And He loves me.
He marvels over His creation.
He loved me so much that He would not let me stumble in my sin.
He sent a Savior so I could be set free, a Savior so I could be cleansed, so I could be made worthy.
He sent a Savior so I could wear that beautiful robe and never doubt for one minute that the robe was designed just for me.
He loves me that much.
That is called Grace.
And I am so grateful for His Grace.
Hallelujah!
I am a child of God.

You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.
Psalm 139:1-2
PRAYER
O Lord God, You know us. You know everything about us, and You love us anyway. You see us through eyes of grace. We who are so unworthy become worthy because of the saving grace of Jesus Christ. We marvel at this gift. It is nothing we could ever earn. It is Your gift to us, because You love us that much. We praise You, Lord God, for Jesus. We are so thankful to be Your precious children. All glory, honor, majesty and praise to You, Lord, our God in whom we trust.
In the Precious Name of Jesus, we pray,
Amen
Easter Blessings,
Anita
