Thinking today of long hallways and white uniforms, of sick people waiting for a helping hand, hoping for a healing touch. You and I know a Divine Healer who can meet us wherever we are and supply all our needs.

It’s been a long time now, but I still recall my days in white. When caring for my patients, I put a lot of miles on those polished white shoes. There were dressings to change and IV’s to start. Each room I entered held its own set of needs. I would assess my patient, consider their diagnosis, and determine their treatment plan. Then, I would head down the hall for the supply cart.
The supply cart was well stocked with everything from IV tubing to catheters, from bandages to bedpans. I would grab what I needed, pull off the charge sticker, and race back to my patient’s room, ready to respond to what awaited me.
The supplies were kept stocked, ready and waiting to meet the need. All I had to do was access them.
As we step down the long corridors of life, you and I find ourselves in need. We face trials and our sagging spirits wonder if we are up to the task. We encounter sickness, endure suffering, experience sorrow. We need a healing hand, a tender touch, a thoughtful word. We hunger for the medicine of encouragement. We wait for the one who can meet our needs.
Friends, our call light will be answered. All we have to do is call for help. Our Healer stands ready to come to our aid. A heavenly supply cart is available to meet our every need.
Our Great Physician knows our needs, and yet, He desires for us to ask, to reach out, to call upon His Great Name and He will answer. He will supply all of our needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
Stop struggling and reach out today. Reach for the Hand that is always open, always ready to lift You up and set You free from your burdens. Cast your cares on Him for He will bring healing. May we enter His rest today.

PRAYER
O Gracious God, hear our prayers this day. Heal our hurts. Bind up our broken hearts. Take away our anxiety and grant us Your perfect peace. For we know that You are the giver of abundant life. You are fully capable and readily available to supply all our needs as we surrender to Your will and place our trust in Your Great Name.
